Quality Vision International Opens Modern Kotem Facility in Hungary

Rochester, NY – November 19, 2007 – Quality Vision International, Inc. (QVI®), the world's largest vision metrology company, formally opened the
new headquarters for its Kotem Technologies division on October 29, 2007. The 600 square-meter technical center, located in Budaörs, Hungary, 10 kilometers
southwest of Budapest, houses the Kotem software development team. Ultimately it will become the customer support center for QVI customers across Central Europe.

Founded in 1991, Kotem Hungary Ltd. develops GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and fitting software for precision metrology, widely used on video measuring systems and a broad variety of coordinate measuring machines. Kotem products include the industry favorite SmartFit® 3D Fitting and Analysis software package.
Kotem was acquired by QVI in 2005. QVI is the parent company of several prominent companies specializing in precision dimensional measurement, including Optical Gaging Products (OGP®), VIEW Engineering, RAM Optical Instrumentation (ROI®), and Micro-Metric. Corporate facilities are located in the United States, Germany, Singapore, China, and now, Hungary.
"Kotem is committed to providing customers globally with solutions for process analysis and troubleshooting in precision manufacturing. This new facility provides room to expand and develop additional software technologies," says Kotem president and founder Kostadin Doytchinov.
"In addition to Kotem software development, the new facility has space for product demonstrations and customer support services for Central Europe," says R. Stephen Flynn, president of the Optical Gaging Products division of QVI.
