SISSI is a simultaneous electro-thermal simulator. We have developed its graphical
user interface.
The GUI is portable to MS Windows UNIX, LINUX, and many other platforms supported
by FLTK library.
It is fully developed in C++, using 2D/3D OpenGL graphic and
FLTK library.
Its main parts are:
A simultaneous schematic / layout editor, where the user is able to
Draw a schematic using part libraries, wires, labels, texts
Edit the part's parameters
Draw the part's physical layout in separate window
Move, rotate or delete parts and/or their layout
Select parts
Cut/copy/paste the selected parts from/to clipboard
Undo, redo
Use grids for easier positioning
Save/restore the schematic, the layout, the settings and the analysis parameters
Environmental parameter setup dialogs
Project settings
Environment type and temperature settings
Layout-layer structure
Analysis setup dialogs
Analysis base parameters
Create various analysis cards
Execute analysis cards
Result windows
Text results – simple numbers (DC values, etc.)
2D function plots (Transient, Bode, etc.)
2D thermal map (Temperature distribution on the layout shown on color maps)
3D thermal map and it’s sections (the 2D thermal map show with 3D temperature peaks)
It is also able to compile and export net lists form the schematic.
